Every magnificent world needs a magnificent team!

There are some pretty amazing grown-ups (and one little fella) behind my stories.  They help me turn big ideas into books, pictures, activities, and adventures.

Come on in and meet my team!

Love,
Tristina 🌳

Tana Hanes Young is the one who dreamed me up!  She has spent more than 26 years working with children and families, so she knows that growing up isn't always easy.  She believes every child has something magnificent inside them — and sometimes we just need someone to help us see it.

She always reminds me -and you- that mistakes aren't the end of the story.  They are part of learning and growing!

I think she's pretty magnificent, too. But don't tell her I said that!

Richard Hoit is the amazing illustrator who helped bring Biscuit and me to life!

He took the things Tana imagined about me—my wild curly hair, my glasses, and my BIG personality—and turned them into pictures!

And he gave Biscuit his personality, too.

(Biscuit thinks he looks especially handsome.)

Richard's attention to detail means there are always little things to discover in my world. You might even spot something you didn't notice the first time you read my story!

Biscuit is my best little buddy and my biggest cheerleader!

Don't let his size fool you.  Although he is small and furry, he is ALWAYS ready for an adventure.

Biscuit has a talent for showing up when you least expect him—and sometimes getting into a little trouble along the way, too!  Maybe that's why we get along so well.

He may be tiny, but Biscuit has a BIG personality. He's curious, playful, and always ready to make me smile.

I think every treehouse needs a Biscuit, don't you?

These grown-ups have SO many bright ideas! Our Magnificent Idea Makers bring years of experience in education, child development, movement, behavior, and learning to Tristina's world.

Together, they help me create activities and resources that are fun, engaging, meaningful, and developmentally appropriate for kids. They think about how children learn, how they move, how they behave, and—most importantly—how they experience the world around them.

They help me make sure that when we say “learning can be magnificent,” we mean it!

I'm pretty lucky to have this many smart grown-ups on my team.
